Flexmonster 3.0 Admin Panel: Full Guide

Starting with version 3.0, Flexmonster introduced a powerful, two-part structure: the Flexmonster server, which manages heavy-duty backend data processing, and the Flexmontser Pivot UI, which handles final client-side visualization. This architecture significantly boosts performance and scalability.

To make backend management more comfortable and intuitive, we have thoroughly redesigned the Admin Panel, prioritizing clarity, control, and ease of use.

So, we are excited to present the updated Admin Panel that will be available in 3.0 version! Below, we will provide a brief overview of its main functionality and explain how each part can be helpful to you.

The updated Admin Panel includes the following tabs. Let’s take a closer look:

Data sources

You can find all connected sources and manage them in one place. Parameters are detected automatically, but you can adjust them. For example, turn numbers into strings or set a date format. You can remove sources you don’t need anymore, add new ones from a URL or your computer, and easily enable, disable, or reload any source.

Settings

This section allows you to manage the main server settings. Here, you can change the port, enable or disable security and login, toggle WSS on or off, and set CORS.

Security

If you have users, it’s precisely the place that you need. This tab allows you to add, edit, or remove accounts that can log in.

Monitoring

Here, you can view all your performance metrics, including memory usage, CPU load, and open connections. Moreover, it is real-time, with up-to-date information that can be refreshed whenever needed.

Logs

This tab displays what’s happening on the server and any errors that occur. You can refresh or open the log files. For your convenience, 10 records are saved in an easily accessible folder, ready for review.
