Hi, im interested in your product to switch accessing SSAS from using excel to web based app, but unfortunately im still unable to access it.
I already follow the instruction to implement this, accessing through sql server management studio --> open analysis service and type http://localhost/olap/msmdpump.dll can open the ssas tree, but the database is empty. Its different if the address is only localhost, the database tree is listed with olap cube. Already check some solution like account permission or applying cummulative update of sqlserver2017, but still no luck.
Im using windows 2012 server r2 and sql server 2017. Do you have any experience in handling such this condition?
Thank you.
Hello,
Thank you for writing to us.
Our team is currently unable to identify the cause of the connection issue. The connection procedure consists of many steps, and incorrect configuration at any point could cause a similar behavior. Please try following our guide once more, which you can access from this article: Connecting to Microsoft Analysis Services via XMLA.
If this does not resolve the problem, please provide us with screenshots when this issue occurs and check the browser console for any errors.
Additionally, we recommend connecting to Microsoft Analysis Services through Flexmonster Accelerator instead of XMLA. This is our special server-side proxy that increases data loading speeds. Flexmonster Accelerator utilizes our communication protocol, which is more lightweight compared to XMLA, resulting in greater performance. Additionally, this might help you to avoid the connection issues that you are currently facing. For more information, see our Flexmonster Accelerator guide.
We are looking forward to hearing your feedback.
Best Regards,
Maksym
Thank you for your response.
Yes we are now exploring accelerator as backend for ssas. Seems promising. Will explore more to integrate with our reporting engine.
Thank's once again.
