[bug] null value in classic removes entire row

Answered
brian mulh asked on April 30, 2025

When I have a null value in a cell in the classic view and turn on subtotals, the entire row disappears. An example of this can be found here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1feCFH3Xn15cpW_TqGRA_Dslg4ONfofAs.

When I open the pivot in classic and remove subtotals, the "null" customer name causes all the rows to disappear.   This is not the behavior I would expect.  I'd expect the rows to still exist with a null value in the customer cell.  Is there a way to support this behavior?

Thanks,

Brian

Hello Brian,

Thank you for reaching out to us and providing us with the video.

Our team could not reproduce the described behavior on our side. The null values were still visible on the grid, and the rows were not removed after switching to classic form and turning off subtotals. Could you please provide us with an example of how this issue can be reproduced? It would greatly help us to continue the investigation.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,
Nadia
