Drill downs not always showing all columns.

Resolved
Craig Button asked on June 13, 2022

Hello,
Not sure why but it looks like some fields when drilled down on are only showing that field on by default the user will need to add the columns manually for specific drill downs (e.g. drilling down on QTY will on will only show QTY, the user will then need to click the arrow menu to add all the columns). Other fields will show all the columns straight away.
I am guessing this is not intentional. Let me know what information you need to help you fix the issue.
Kind regards,
Craig Button

Hello, Craig,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

If we understood you correctly, you have mentioned the pop-up opening on double-click on the grid cell - the drill-through view.
Speaking of MSAS, there's no option to control the default fields for the drill-through view on the client. The server returns underlying table rows used to create a specified cell in a cube.
It means that the cube needs to be configured in a certain way: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/analysis-services/multidimensional-tutorial/lesson-8-1-defining-and-using-a-drillthrough-action?view=sql-analysis-services-2022

Please let us know if it works for you. Feel free to contact us if other questions arise.

Kind regards,
Nadia

Hello, Craig,

Flexmonster provides the showAllFieldsDrillThrough property of the Options Object. If you set it to true, the drill-through view displays all the available columns when using SSAS with Flexmonster Accelerator.

Please let us know if any questions arise.

Kind regards,
Nadia
