Expanding/collapsing rows not functional in multi-level hierarchies w/hidden dimensions

Hello,
We allow users to "hide" dimensions in our software and it is used quite frequently. In practice, we simply "hide" dimensions by settings their height/width to 0 in tableSizes.

When a dimension with children is hidden in a multi-level hierarchy, it seems the collapse/expand function breaks.

I have prepared a fiddle:
https://jsfiddle.net/gmcwh527/
To provoke the issue:

  • Press the hide button
  • This hides the US dimension
  • Expand the Canada dimension

You should now see that:

  1. On first click, nothing happens
  2. On second click, the row (Grand total) immediately below the selected row (Canada) is hidden.

Expected behavior would be that the children of Canada are shown.
