Filters not working on numeric value

Hello FlexMonster Team,
My teammate Loveena raised this issue recently. I will try to provide more information so that we can reach a solution. 

  1. We are applying filters (greater, less than, etc.) on only "number" type fields.
  2. We are using "flat form" layout
  3. We are not using pivot table --> only using tabular format
  4. We have built a custom data server based on the open source nodejs server you have provided us
  5. The filtering works correctly on those columns with the custom data server as the backend

We have tried 2.8.33 data server in our demo environment as well as running the latest flexmonster data server as a windows service locally and they both show the same filtering bug on numeric fields. I can't understand why this is happening when we are not using pivot tables. Please help us understand how to fix the filters so that our customers may use them appropriately.

Thank you for providing more context regarding this issue.
Our team reproduced this behavior using the flat view with the latest version of Flexmonster Data Server. We will provide a fix in a future minor release, ETA Jan 23.

We are glad to announce that the issue with value filters on the flat view was fixed in Flexmonster v.2.9.43.

Hi Maksym!
Thanks for looking into the issue for us.
We have updated the data server to the latest version.
However, we are still having the same issue. See the attached images. Added a filter "Greater" --> 40, but we see many values that are much smaller than 40.
Please look into it.

Thank you for your feedback.
Kindly note that you should also update the Flexmonster component to make it work. If you only updated FDS, we suggest updating the component as well.
You can check the component's version by clicking on the grid and pressing Ctrl + Alt + i (Option + Control + i on macOS). It should be 2.9.43.
