Get the number of rows in the current filtered data

I was wondering, how to get the number of records in the actual filtered view??

I couldn't find anything on the docs or examples.
Do you guys have a method for it?

thanks for the response
We are building this reporting app (see the screenshot)

for the record counter which has some bugs now (because of the virtual scroll)

I need a method to get how many records in total exist for the current filtered/sorted data

Let me know if you need more data
