How to achieve MS Excel style of currency formatting (USA)

Answered
Support Desk asked on November 2, 2022

In MS Excel currency formatting (in US) is done by moving the symbol outside of the brackets and all the way to the left.
Negative number
$     (18.00)
Positive number
$     125.50

What is the right configuration to achieve this formatting?
