I am taking over a flex reporting system without knowing how it was setup. I see in docs the sql Data Compressor and accelerator is recommended for mssql but not sure if we have it setup. After reviewing the docs I do not see a service on the windows server and not sure where in the linux server to check if this is configured. I am new to Flex.

We would like to point out that the Data Compressor is used when working with databases whereas Flexmonster Accelerator is used when working with Cubes.
Depending on the type of your data source either Flexmonster Data Compressor or Flexmonster Accelerator could be used in your case.
Please note that Flexmonster Data Compressor is available for the following technologies: .NET, Java, PHP, and Node.js.
