How to search by wildcard in the filter dialog search box

Is it possible in the row filter dialog to use the search box with a wildcard?

For example to find the entry '2016' in the screenshot attached by searching for '2*6'?

Kindly note that it is not possible to use the wildcard in filters or the Field List search in Flexmonster.
