I have JSON data sent by a REST API where I have string duration fields such as "25:03:47" for 25 hours 3 minutes and 47 seconds.
How do I use the mapping option so that Flexmonster understands there are duration values and so they are displayed and sorted correctly.

solved by reading doc, store value in seconds in JSON and apply mapping type "time".
