Maximum number of rows and clumns

Hello guys,
We are currently handling reasonably small data sets 100K records, totalling circa 100Mb.  The Flexmonster plugin handles it fine, and very fast, which is great.
We are anticipating the number of records to grow past the 1M line (c10M we expect).  Does Flexmonster have a hard limit of records that it can handle (like Excel back in the day 65K records limit), or is this just purely down to the performance of the client machine and servers ability to dish out the data.

Thanks
Iouri

Hello Iouri,
Thank you for your interest in our component. We are glad that you have achieved good results when working with 100k data.
Speaking of data limits, Flexmonster does not provide any data restriction. However, it is a browser application that is why we are always limited to the client's machine capacity. Flexmonster uses browser's resources such as RAM to store its structure when Excel allocates RAM directly from the user's machine. However, with a certain amount of optimization, it is possible to work with the impressive amount of data. We created a guideline to help our clients choosing a suitable data source for them. Please find it here: https://www.flexmonster.com/blog/blog-perform-faster/.
If you have any other question, feel free to contact us.
Regards,
Dmytro
