When export the grid to excel or csv this take the numeric values as string, not as numbers, when we try to summarize in excel manually has to remove the characters, comma, dot and convert to numeric.
In the demos page can observate this, export and the money values has for example $1,000,000.00

Thank you for writing to us.
When exporting to Excel, the numeric values should be exported as numbers. Our development team will fix this and release an update on December the 17th.
When you export the content from the grid as CSV, each member is surrounded with double quotes to ensure the correctness of the data. For example, the value "Bikes, Cars" will be misinterpreted if left simply as Bikes, Cars. The data from CSV export is intended to be used in Excel or Google Spreadsheets and the main concern is to display it the same way it was displayed in Flexmonster.
