Hi,
We have a web application that connects to MSAS Olap cubes via Microsoft Office Web Componntes, we are looking to migrate to flexmonster. Currently i'm using flexmonster 2.3 and it's connected to MSAS via proxies, but flexmonster have worst loading times compared to Microsoft Web Components.
Is there any way to improve performance ?
Is it necessary to have Flexmonster Accelerator running with the proxies to perform well ?
I'm having this issue while trying to connect with flexmonster accelerator.

According to the screenshot, it seems the authentication is not configured correctly and the user that you are trying to connect with is not granted the necessary permissions. Please see our configuring authentication process tutorial for guidance.
We kindly recommend using Flexmonster Accelerator for achieving better performance.
When working with OLAP cubes, a browser component communicates with the server via the XMLA protocol. The XMLA protocol is heavy and exchanges a lot of excessive information – it takes too much time and memory to load and process the data.
Flexmonster Accelerator for Microsoft Analysis Services cubes is a special server-side proxy that increases data loading speeds from the server to the customer’s browser and at the same time reducing the load on the browser memory.
Also, please consider trying the latest version from our website since improvements have been made regarding performance.

Hello,
we managed to configure Flexmonster Accelerator, but it takes too much time loading data compared to Microsoft Office Web Components. Apart from using Flexmonster Accelerator is there another way to improve performance ?

Flexmonster Accelerator is a recommended approach when working with SASS.
There are some recommendations which allow achieving better performance when working with accelerator:
- Please make sure that Flexmonster Accelerator and SASS instance are located on the same machine. That allows minimizing the time spent on data transfer.
- Please check the outbound speed of the server where Flexmonster Accelerator is located. If it is limited that could reduce performance.
