Hello,

When in flat view is it possible to not display the filter columns in the grid, but still have the present in reportFilters in the slice object?

Hi Jimmy,

Thank you for writing to us.

Yes, the report filters in the slice object will still work even if filtering through the header cells is disabled in flat view.

Here's a JSFiddle sample illustrating this: https://jsfiddle.net/flexmonster/3qanfumt/.

Please let us know if this is what you're looking for.

Best regards,
Mykhailo

Hello Mykhailo,
With the your JSfiddle as an example:
I would like the hole Category column to not be shown, so only the Country and Price columns are shown.

Jimmy,

Thank you for your fast response.

This is currently not possible in flat table – it was designed to show raw data, and report filters act like regular filters when the flat form is displayed.

Therefore, here entries are only filtered if the filtered field is present & active in the slice.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.

Regards,
Mykhailo

Hello, Nil,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Currently, we do not have plans to change report filters' behavior for the flat form. All the report filters added in pivot form (compact or classic) are displayed similarly to the rest of the columns after switching to the flat form.

Please let us know if any other questions arise.

Kind regards,
Illia
