Handle more than 10 columns when expanding all

Hi,

We\'re running into an error when expanding all on columns that have more than 10. The error is too many layouts for classic form, switch to compact form. The problem is, the way the data is read and understood, the compact form doesn\'t represent it properly. Is there anyway around this? Any code changes I can make to the flexmonster integration to allow for more than 10 columns in classic form.

Thanks!

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Please consider that switching from classic to compact layout happens automatically to ensure that there is enough space for the scrollable content (see more details on the scrollable content in a similar Support Ticket).

We often suggest the following steps to avoid automatic switching to the compact form:

  • Increase the size of the HTML container for the pivot table component.
  • Resize some columns on the frozen area to leave more space for the scrollable area.
  • Try using Flexmonster in fullscreen mode so that there is more place to draw the columns.

In addition, you are welcome to check out an example of how you could keep the classic layout despite the number of expanded columns in the following Support Ticket: https://www.flexmonster.com/question/ho-to-programmatically-set-layout-form/#answer-38134.

Please let us know if this helps.

Kind regards,
Vera
