is possible to retain the number formatting of measure while change the aggregations?

Hi Team,
In version 2.9.17, we got a new feature called "possible to set different number formatting for measures with different aggregations".

In this version, users will be able to set different number formats for measures with different aggregations, but the state will be present in the same window only. We can't save the entire state.

That means while we save, the config will have only one number format, which is the latest one or current one.

Now the problem is that the number formatting is not maintained while changing the aggregations. So it requires user input for every new change. But earlier, it will retain the format for all the aggregation changes and let users override them.

It was useful for the users. For example, some aggregations require the same formats, i.e., sum, average, min, max, etc., and  % of columns and % of rows will use some number format properties. It was also useful.

The new feature has now vanished from everything. This is a kind of bug from the user side. So, is there any way to retain the number formatting of the measure while changing the aggregations?

So the user can overwrite what they want!

Hello, Ravi!
Thank you for the detailed description of your use case.

Our team wants to state that it was intended behavior, that for every aggregation function user should set number formatting separately.
Nevertheless, the use case you described sounds reasonable from the user experience point of view.

Our team will look at possible options to improve this experience and make it compatible with multiple aggregations formats feature.

We will provide a fix with the ETA on April 18th and notify you when the update will be ready.

Regards,
Solomiia

Hope you are doing well.

We are writing to inform you that we have to postpone the ETA to May 3rd.

Our development team is currently working on the solution. It took longer than expected to consider all the use cases and do the testing.

Our team will notify you as soon as everything is ready.

Looking forward to hearing your feedback.
