How improve PIVOT data loading

We would like to know which approach you are using for connecting to your SQL database. Is it Flexmonster Data Server, custom data source API, or are you converting the data from SQL to use it as JSON/CSV data source? 

Also, could you please tell us on which grid layout (compact, classic or flat)  you observed the slow data loading?

We recommend using Flexmonster Data Server with SQL databases. Flexmonster Data Server is our special tool that allows delegating data aggregation to the server-side.
Flexmonster Data Server is based on the custom data source API. It allows you to retrieve already aggregated data from the server and pass it to the Flexmonster pivot table.
