Hello,
I have this issue.
Date filters set in Flexmonster are saved to templates as Unix epoch time. This can lead to different report results in different timezones.
In order to mitigate this risk the Flexmonster’s date field values should be stored as dates without link to timezone and without timestamp so that results would always be consistent.
P.S. this doesn’t affect datetime fields, they already stored in the proper format.
Could you please help me to solve it?
Hello,
Thank you for contacting us.
We recommend setting the timezone for the dates in your data source as a workaround. This way, you will have consistent dates in the report in different timezones. You are welcome to check the following JSFiddle for reference: https://jsfiddle.net/flexmonster/ypsd02u9/
Please let us know if it works for you. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Nadia
Hello,
Hope you are doing well.
We were wondering if you had a chance to test the suggested approach. Could you please confirm if it works well for you?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Nadia
Hello Naidia,
Yes, the solution works, thanks.
Just I have another question, is there any possibility to send data in same type when they are saved to templates and when we set a filter for example "equal". the date is saved in template as a Unix epoch time and when we want to create a filter for example "equal to: ...." is date time. Could the both type be same?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Best regards
