Hi,

as to be seen in the attached screenshot we have lots of reports where, due to the nature of data, only one value per row exists. In this example AT -> Own-Store and NL -> Own-Store. Is it possible to combine this to AT, Own-Store for example and only have the expand feature on DE? Right now the reports are not well readable as soon as we expand all lines due to many duplicate rows.

Hi Jan,
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, the feature you have described is not available in the component. Still, we want to offer you some workaround. Here is jsFiddle example: https://jsfiddle.net/Uaman23/bqvw342p/. We've tried to simulate your situation and there are to things. First one - use classic view, second turn off the subtotals. Here is the video of how it will look: http://screencast.com/t/FPpQOWJN. Is it better for you? Let us know if it fits your needs.

thanks for the reply. I tried the classic-view already, but unfortunately I cannot turn off the subtotals as they are essential for the report.

Hi Jan,

Thank you for letting us know that you tried the classic view of the pivot table and you cannot turn off the subtotals. According to our opinion, the reports based on your data are more readable in the classic view of the pivot table even with the turned on subtotals. Please let us know if the classic view can work for your case.

It kind of works, but it's just a workaround. I do get this is maybe not a highly requested feature, but maybe you can give it a chance as an upcoming feature some day 😉

Hi Jan,
Thank you for your feedback. We're always trying to take into account our client's wishes. Your request will be added to the customers' wish list. The product development team will discuss the possibility of adding it to the component but please note that there is no such a feature in the roadmap for the nearest future.
