Hi,
The Flexsmonter HTML5 component isn't working with the latest version of Google Chrome (54) for Windows (everything is fine with macOS), there's an error in console:
Uncaught RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceeded
Steps to reproduce:
1) Open https://www.flexmonster.com/demos/js/pivot-table/
Anyone figured this out? There's a workaround?
Thanks in advance
Hello Igor,
Thank you for your question.
It took us some time to find the device in which it can be reproduced, cause on the new devices with 8GB RAM and Windows 10 it's not reproducible.
The fix will be available in the next minor release version 2.225 ETA(Nov7).
Although, could you please provide us with some more information about your computer's characteristics(CPU, RAM, Windows version, ...).
Thank you.
Best regards,
Dmytro.
Hi Dmytro,
Some users reported problems with Windows 7, 8 and 10.
I took a notebook for tests here with Windows 10 [i5, 8gb RAM, x64] and we're using Google Chrome 54.0.2840.
The next minor release on Nov 7? It's a long time until then. There's another possibility?
Thanks in advance
Hello Igor and all Flexmonster users,
We have investigated this issue and seems that it is caused by recent optimization update made by Google Chrome. So, we are publishing an updated version of Flexmonster 2.223 that contains a workaround that resolves "Maximum call stack size exceeded" error. An update is available for download here. How to update guide - Updating to the Latest Version, please skip the first step with downloading from the site and use the package above.
Also, this fix will be included in the next minor release (version 2.224, Oct 25).
Thanks for your understanding,
Ian
Thank you, guys! You're amazing 😀
