Hello,
Keyboard navigation is slightly bugged when hiding columns/rows. If you hide a column, keyboard navigation will still select cells if you navigate past the column.
This is not a big issue for most use-cases, but in our use-case we allow users to hide as many dimensions as they wish, including hiding children. This increases the chance that someone has hidden several columns or rows. This will effectively make keyboard navigation useless.
Can you implement a feature such that arrow KB navigation skips hidden rows/columns?
Best,
Jonas

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Hello again Nadia,
Thanks a lot for the tentative fix. Let me know when it's updated 🙂
I have a separate related bug for keyboard navigation. When showHeaders is false and the layout is in flat view, it is possible to navigate outside the shown range by going all the way to the left via the arrow keys.Â
Take this example:
https://jsfiddle.net/uosn09c5/
It is possible to keyboard navigate all the way to the left such that the selected cell disappears. It appears to be principally the same issue as noted above, as it is simply the selection not recognizing it is hitting an element with a width/height of 0.
Hello,Â
We are glad to announce that the issues with keyboard navigation through hidden cells were fixed.
This fix is provided in the 2.9.63 version of Flexmonster: https://www.flexmonster.com/release-notes/version-2-9-63/Â
You are welcome to update the component. Here is our updating guide for assistance: https://www.flexmonster.com/doc/updating-to-the-latest-version/
Please let us know if the fix works. Looking forward to hearing your feedback.
Kind regards,
Nadia
This fix appears to be fine, thank you! 🙂
