Hi,

I want to give a custom name to the report when I export, and select a path in my local pc, but when I export, flexmonster save the archive as pivot, and the extension, but not give me the option to name the report, can I do this? Thanks.

Hello, Jonatan!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Kindly note that you can change the default name of an exporting file from the code. As an entry point, please check out the docks on the topic: https://www.flexmonster.com/doc/export-report/#filename-excel.

If you want the dialog window to open when saving files from Flexmonster to your local system, please check the configurations of your browser.

Please let us know if you need our further assistance with changing the default filename.

Kind regards,
Solomiia

Hello,

Thanks, there are some way to change the sheet name in Excel when I export from the flexmonster export menu? Or the only way is to create a new function? I see the documentation, but in all the examples I have to create a new button to call the function.

Regards.

Hello, Jonatan!

Kindly note that it is possible to override the default "Export to Excel" Toolbar tab to add custom names for the Excel file and sheet.

We have prepared an example for illustration: https://jsfiddle.net/flexmonster/51u93oky/.

Please let us know if the suggested approach works well for you.

Kind regards,
Solomiia
