Conditional formatting pop-up window displays incorrect color when color selection pop-up closed by outside click

The conditional formatting pop-up window in some cases displays colors that do not get applied. To reproduce:

  1. Navigate to a Flexmonster table, for example the one on this demo page: https://www.flexmonster.com/demos/js/pivot-table/
  2. Open the conditional formatting pop-up window.
  3. Click on the A to open a color selection pop-up window.
  4. Choose a different color from the one currently selected.
  5. Close the color pop-up window by clicking on the conditional formatting pop-up window. In particular, do not click on either of the "Cancel" or "Apply" buttons.
  6. Observe that the A is the color selected in the color pop-up window.
  7. Click "Apply" in the conditional formatting pop-up window.

Result: The color is not applied.

Expected result: Either of the following:

  • The color is applied. This would be as if the user clicked "Apply" in the color selection pop-up window.
  • The A in the conditional formatting pop-up window shows the same color as when the pop-up window opened. This would be as if the user clicked "Cancel" in the color selection pop-up window.

Our team agrees that the behavior of the color selection pop-up on blur is inconsistent. We will provide a fix for the color selection with the ETA September 16th.
Please note that after the fix, the new color will be set only when clicking the "Apply" button in the color selection pop-up, and the behavior of clicking outside the pop-up window will be aligned with the functionality of the "Cancel" button.

We will notify you about any updates on the matter.

Thank you all for your quick response, releasing this fix, and following up. I see on your demo page that the functionality is now working as expected. We've not tested internally yet, as we may open other tickets for fixes first.
