Accessibility in Flexmonster 2.9

Version 2.9 has brought many notable features. Among them, there is one we are incredibly proud of — accessibility.

We started working on it long before the major release, and it's been quite a journey to make Flexmonster accessible. Why did we invest so much into accessibility? Let us share our motivation with you:

NEW! Pivot Table for Electron.js

We get inspired by innovations. We are driven by innovations. Naturally, we strive to support newly emerging frameworks and technologies by making the lives of developers who create reporting software easier.

Therefore, we are excited to announce that now you can integrate Flexmonster Pivot Table & Charts with the Electron.js framework.

Flexmonster CLI: why and how?

If you have already decided to use Flexmonster, then the next choice you will need to make is how to get the tool. Recently we added a new way to download Flexmonster packages. We made this change to make it easier and quicker to start the work with our component.

Before, Flexmonster offered only three options:

Flexmonster Version 2.9 is coming soon. What to expect?

We are well on the way towards our roadmap plan: most of our features have already been presented in biweekly minor updates. We hope you had time to test them actively.

Anyway, we want to point out all the features we are planning to gather in the upcoming version 2.9:

Multidimensional vs Tabular SSAS models: we support both

One common motivation to use Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services is the analysis of massive datasets. OLAP cubes allow coping with much more significant data volumes than relational databases. Case study: GAtec in cooperation with Flexmonster

Keeping in touch with our clients is important for our team. Sharing how Flexmonster is successfully applied to meet the business needs of our customers inspires us, so we decided to start a case study series where we would share some of that insight with our readers.

Today we are proud to showcase our partnership with GAtec — one of the top information system solutions on the Brazilian agribusiness market.

Story is in the air

Beforehand I wrote about the impact of data visualization on business reports. Hopefully, arguments based on how our brain perceives and decodes information were quite compelling for you. Further, we will examine some underlying ideas which also have a huge influence on the effectiveness of your business reports.

Case study: Giving World in cooperation with Flexmonster

Giving World is a non-profit organization that provides a unique way for businesses to donate their surplus stock and unwanted items to charitable organizations.

Their primary goal is to give a helping hand to people in need by providing them with much-needed resources. We should note that GW is a one-of-a-kind UK service that allows busy businesses and charity partners to arrange the logistics directly completely free of charge.

Update data in run time

Flexmonster pivot table component is a convenient tool for data analysis and visualization. It offers fast pivot grid control, built-in pivot charts, integration with 3rd party charting libraries. Moreover, the application can have more than one instance of the component. That allows creating a dashboard view with different charts and tables.

Top technologies & tech stacks used with Flexmonster

The power of Flexmonster is that you can integrate it with the majority of the technical stacks. Since the component works on the client side of your app, it doesn’t rely on server-side technologies used within a project. That's why, you're free to pick up your favorite programming language, data store, and front-end framework, and start creating your outstanding analytics app empowered with an interactive web pivot table and pivot charts.
