    This is an overview of the filtering features available in Flexmonster.

    Field filters

    Using field filters, you can display different data based on members of specific fields from the slice. There are three types of field filters, which provide different functionality for various purposes.

    Filter by condition

    Filter field members according to certain criteria using the filter by condition. For example, the following filter configuration shows countries that start with "U":

    Filter by selection

    Choose which field members should be displayed or hidden using the selection filter. For example:

    Filter by value

    The value filter allows you to choose a measure and filter field members based on the measure's values. For example, the following filter configuration shows the top 5 countries with the highest product prices:

    Report filters

    Report filters are special fields used for filtering data without being shown on the grid and charts. The filtering is performed by applying the conditional or selection filters, similar to fields in rows and columns.
