I can define the conditional formatting as usual but it does not reflect in the grid.

Yeah, I already looked at the demo, and indeed that is working correctly. However, here's a video of what I am doing and not getting the expected result. I expect 64 to be highlighted in Orange.

It seems that there is an issue with applying conditional formatting to non-numeric measures.
We will fix this issue in the next minor release (ETA Oct 9).

Hello, Gitahi,
I am glad to inform you that the minor release 2.405 is available for download.
Now conditional formatting rule can be applied to fields with string members selected as Values with "Count" or "Distinct Count" aggregation.
You are welcome to update the component.
