Hi. It seems like it is not possible to define a conditional formatting rule for a column containing text values, is this correct? This is a big miss, from our perspective. I see earlier requests for this feature dating back to 2016. Is this capability available?

You are right, currently, it is not possible to apply conditional formatting based on string-value fields. However, this feature is added to the customer’s wish list. Alternatively, you can still consider the customizeCell() API call to implement your own flexible customization based on the value’s comparison with other string values.
