Good day,
Since today we've been having problems using the export to Excel function with a Flat Grid, it had been working properly and we have not done any change in the code, I attached screenshots of what's happening, as well as from the part of the code that does the export.
As you can see in the screenshots the export works but there are no headers. Would you know what's happening here?
Thanks in Advance.
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We have not managed to reproduce the issue on our end using the latest version of Flexmonster.
Here is a JSFiddle example for reference: https://jsfiddle.net/flexmonster/h5twr7L6/.
Could you please modify the provided JSFiddle so that the issue is reproducible? More insight would greatly help us in solving this case.
Thank you, and looking forward to your response.
Kind regards,
Vera
Hello,
Looking deeper, we noticed that the issue is reproducible if the data contains a slash (/
), for example, "some/word"
.
Our team will provide the fix in an upcoming minor release of Flexmonster with the ETA 21st of September.
Could you please confirm if the same applies to your case?
Looking forward to your reply.
Kind regards,
Vera

We are happy to inform you that the issue with exporting data with "/"
symbols to Excel was fixed.
This is provided in the 2.9.7 version of Flexmonster: https://www.flexmonster.com/release-notes/.
You are welcome to update the component: https://www.flexmonster.com/doc/updating-to-the-latest-version/.
Please let us know if the fix works fine for you.
Kind regards,
Vera
