We are using IF statements in calculated values, but the current comparison behavior is quite limited.
We would like the IF function to support stronger comparison logic, similar to how it works in Microsoft Excel. For example, it should be possible to compare strings and values in a more flexible and predictable way within the IF condition.
Is this functionality already on your roadmap or backlog? If not, we would like to submit it as a feature request for consideration in a future release.

String comparison in Calculated Values, including within IF conditions, is a frequently requested feature. We have already added it to our customers’ wishlist and will consider implementing this functionality in Flexmonster 3.0. Our team will notify you in case of any updates on the matter.

Hi Nadia,
Do you have any idea when Flexmonster 3.0 will come? Like - Q4 2026 or is it more like "maybe second half of 2027"?
We need to make a decision if we should build it ourself. We would prefer not to have to build it ourself - but it is dependent on how long time we can live without it.

At the moment, our team is focused on developing the base Flexmonster functionality, and new features such as extended string comparison in Calculated Values will be addressed afterward. We are not yet able to share a clear timeframe for Flexmonster 3.0.
