the excel has grid data in compact view always. by defualt am set to classic. but when in chart view , i clcik export to excel it puts data in excel grid with compact view. can this be customzied?

so fix will make sure it wont change/alter the VIEW of the grid correct ?
OR it will defualt to something;;;

Thank you for your question. The suggested fix should implement the following behavior: if the current grid layout is in the classic mode and then you turn it to charts and press export, the export should be performed in the classic grid layout.

I am glad to inform you that the minor release 2.404 is available for download now. The issues with exporting from charts view when grid.type="classic" was fixed.
