Version 2.307
Please note that removeSelection() may be not working.
I have attached Index.html which is exactly your version containing a button "Clear Selection" executing pivot.removeSelection()
What am I doing wrong?

It seems like we have a bug with this API call.
We will provide the necessary fix in the build 2.308. It's planned on next Monday (30th of Jan).
