Hello Nagaraj,
Thank you for your question.
Could you please specify what you are trying to achieve? Some screenshots or video examples that describe the idea are appreciated.
Waiting to hear from you.
Regards,
Dmytro
Hi Dmytro,
In the flexmonster report output, if suppose the report has 80 columns and user want to move the 78th or 79th column data to first or second column in the report output, how this can be achieved was my question earlier.
Hi,
I understand we can achieve this by drag and drop from the report output. The other way is to click on fields and the fields popup window appears as shown in the attached screenshot. The screenshot has bottom and top has a red arrow for indication. Please allow a user to vertically scroll up to desired location in the list, instead of page wise, since user can utmost navigate to HCArrivalDate and can't move beyond that to top of the list.
Hello, Nagaraj,
Thank you for writing to us.
Our team kindly suggests the following:
1) Context menu approach:
It is possible to customize the context menu and add additional options, for example, an option to reorder fields.
The sortOrder property can be used to place the needed measure on the first position.
As an extension of point 1, it can be a pop up where a number is entered, which defines a position in sort order, to reorder the fields without opening the Field List.
2) Using mouse scroll when dragging a field in the Field List.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
Best Regards,
Vera
Hi Vera,
I was wondering for the first point 1) if you can provide us with a JSfiddle.net link for the above sort issue, so we can accordingly work.
Thanks
Nagaraj
Hello, Nagaraj,
Thank you for writing back.
Regarding point 1), here is a JSFiddle example for illustration: https://jsfiddle.net/flexmonster/bfp7cray/
This sample shows how the context menu for Price is extended to provide a new option.
This sample demonstrates the general idea of this approach. You can further modify it to suit your needs.
Please let us know if this works.
Best Regards,
Vera
