Scrolls issue when expanding nested elements on a chart

Hi All,
We are migrating to the 2.9 version and we noticed a different behavior when expanding nested elements on a chart. On your demo page and Version 2.310 (build 27/02/2017 14:26:19) no matter how many nested elements you have on a chart, when one expands those elements the chart will always be scaled down to the size of its parent size while the elements will get smaller and smaller. After our migration to 2.9 the chart scales down properly to some level and then scrolls appear, please see the screenshot for more details. Do you have any idea what this behavior depends on?

Hi,

Thank you for posting your question.

In later Flexmonster versions, the container is stretched on purpose once the number of members becomes high enough.

This is done to ensure there is enough space for all members to be displayed properly, instead of squeezing them in a fixed-size container.

Hope this helps!

Best regards,
Mykhailo

Hi Mykhailo,
Thank you for your answer, is there any way we can override the behavior so it works as before?

Hi Maksym,

This type of customization is not accounted for in Flexmonster Charts – we'd suggest considering a 3rd party charting library as an option if this is crucial for your use case.
